State of emergency could be lifted after elections, Erdogan says

President Erdogan says state of emergency could be lifted after the elections.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a live broadcast on CNN Turk and Kanal D he would explain the new presidential system ahead of the elections that will be held on June 24, 2018.
 
In the live broadcast President Erdogan answered the questions concerning the agenda.
 
Erdogan said the number of ministers would substantially be decreased in the new presidential system, adding there would be councils and agencies.

Regarding Canal Istanbul project, Erdogan criticized the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP)'s presidential candidate Muharrem Ince, saying: "They [Ince] do not have such a horizon, a dream. However, I have such a dream that have started from the period when I was the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality."

Turkey’s president added they could lift the state of emergency after June 24 elections.
 
Cross-border operations to Qandil and Sinjar
 
Answering a question of a possible operation to Iraq’s Qandil Mountain, he said: "If the Baghdad administration says ‘I cannot solve’, we will not get any credit from anyone."
